This small stone, in the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall inspired me to create this collection which has a message written in Ogham, a pictish text.  The translation on the stone reads 'a blessing on the soul' which is a very personal sentiment. I then researched the language further creating other messages of my own such as 'she' and 'heaven'.
